CivE 622 goes on a canoe trip

The students enrolled in CivE 622 (Physico-chemical Water and Wastewater Treatment) canoed along the urban sections of the North Saskatchewan River to understand the role of Source Water Protection Plan as a part of a multibarrier approach to water treatment.

Rafting down the Bow River

To learn more about our study site, we tagged along with our collaborators from the University of Calgary and rafted down the Bow River. It was a fun learning experience for all and a great way to appreciate the recreational benefits of our urban rivers.
